物（wù）料從主機架上部入口（kǒu）處進（jìn）入窩眼滾筒內，旋轉的窩眼滾筒（tǒng）上衝有（yǒu）尺寸精確的氣（qì）泡（pào）式窩眼，小於窩眼內徑的顆粒會嵌入窩眼內，隨滾筒上行一定距離後落入中心（xīn）U型料槽，而後被U型料槽內的螺旋攪（jiǎo）龍（lóng）排出設備；而較長或較大的顆粒則因無法嵌入窩眼內徑而滯留（liú）在滾筒裏，最終經由滾筒內的另一端出口排出。因此，窩眼（yǎn）筒精選機（jī）不僅（jǐn）可以去雜質，也可以當成更精準的分級機（jī）使用。
